Heart & Dagger Tattoo- established in 2016, by its owner and head artist Connie Westgate . A custom shop with a main focus on producing beautiful , original pieces for each of her clients. Connie enjoys creating custom neo-traditional pieces; colourful, cute tattoos  as well as black and grey , black work pieces. She also does re-works and cover ups of unwanted tattoos. Tattooing since 2008, Connie brings her love of art  and people together in the exciting medium of tattoos. A life long artist , ( painting in acrylics, sculpting, ) Connie enjoys getting to know her clientele as well seeing them return for more carefully crafted, unique pieces. 

Connie developed the shop with the mantra of creating a creative community of enthusiastic, dedicated, tattoo artists . Community is a big part of the ideology behind Heart & Dagger Tattoo. This has resulted in Connie developing a program of scar cover ups for women recovering from cancer . Fighting for your life is one thing, looking at the scar after the fact can be a painful reminder for some women. The same goes for surgical scars. Heart & Dagger Tattoo also does a yearly fundraiser for animal rescues, this year we partnered up with SCARS Second Chance Animal Rescue @scars_care . Keep an eye out on our social media IG @heartdaggertattoo for designs and dates! Usually held the first weekend of October , it’s a great event and a fun way to give back for the Heart & Dagger Team . Bree Anna- Beware Tattoo & Art Studio www.bewaretattooartstudio.com

Bree Anna has dedicated her life to the art of tattooing . She fell in love with tattoo industry at the age of 12 and has been working towards her dream of becoming a tattoo artist ever since. Bree’s first love , however, is painting and has a diploma in Fine Arts. It is because of this diversity that this allows her to continually develop her artistic eye in both painting and tattooing. Bree has been tattooing since February 1, 2019 and has explored many styles of tattooing since. She has developed her skills to include a variety of techniques, including cover ups .Her favourite styles of tattooing are Trash Polka , black and grey with pops of colour, watercolour, an realism. . She enjoys doing custom work regardless if its the size of a loonie or a full back piece. The possibilities are endless when it comes to creating any tattoo that you will be proud to wear for the rest of your life.

Shauna Bauer , @tattootides

Shauna finished here apprenticeship back in 2008. A few years following this she took time off from tattooing to raise her young family. She returned to tattooing in 2022 and added Permanent Make - Up services to her list of tattooing skills.

A multifaceted artist , she enjoyed doing a variety of styles with geometric design, and realism being her favourites to create for her clients. She genuinely loves the craft of tattooing and enjoys creating large scale projects and taking small walk ins . We are thrilled to have her on our team.

Shop Rates

Shop rates are to $180.00 /$200.00per hour; depending on who does the service. Permanent Make up has it own prince listing on our site. Our minimum charge is $150.00 , for tattoos 30 mins or less. Touch -ups are $20.00 . There are no other shop fees other than the good old GST.  You must be 18 to get tattooed. No drugs, drinking, and  rude behaviour will not be tolerated.
